5 months

Well, technically she turned 5 months 10 days ago but you know how this blogging business can be for me.
Hey, I'm just proud of myself for even posting the third child's month by month pictures.  It's crazy around these parts I tell ya.  Crazy.

Our little Lillian is a growing girl.

She is definitely bigger than Savannah was at this age.

Her rolls are plumping up ever so nicely.

And she has the the cutest, fatest, and juiciest wrist and kankles that you ever did see.

She may not be as small as Savannah was at this age but she definitely smiles just as much as she did.

Who knew such a colicky, difficult newborn would produce such a happy little baby?

Thank goodness for my sanity's sake.

She is slowly becoming a better sleeper.  I feed her around 7 at night and on a bad night she'll wake around 12:30 a.m. for another feeding, and on a good night she'll wake closer to 3 or 4 in the morning.  Thankfully after I feed her at any hour during the night she usually goes right back to sleep.  I realize she's more than likely waking at night out of habit but for some reason I always have a hard time letting them "cry it out."  I'm determined to let her cry it out at 6 months.  I know my life would be much much easier if I did.

Plus it doesn't really look like this chunk is hurting for food.

Her older siblings adore her and Savannah thinks she's her baby doll.

And she's not the sweetest with her baby dolls.  She's known to hit, scratch, and smother them from time to time.

Savannah was not happy that big brother was chosen to hold her baby doll.

Isaac lives for making goofy faces these days.  He was in full fledged goofy mode for every picture.

But he knows how to get baby laughing.

These three little ones keep me busy my friends.

Honestly, THIS one feels like three kids combined sometimes.

She's a mess.

She is EVERYWHERE these days.  Climbing into Lillian's crib without me looking, playing in toilets, drinking from toilets, breaking into the pantry for fruit snacks, coloring the walls with crayons, stuffing DVD's into any small space she can find, climbing onto counter tops, opening cabinets, taking out every content in the cabinet,....and the list goes on and on and on.

But as crazy as this wild girl is she steals our heart every single second.

She's just so cuddly and loves to be held and lay her head on one's shoulder to her daddy's delight.

And THIS boy...

Isaac can easily be described in one word.
Hilarious.

He keeps us laughing constantly.

He can make you die laughing one second and then the next second, you want to beat his little bottom raw. ;)  He's a mess too, just in different ways.

I tried to get a decent picture of him but these beauties were all I could get...

But honestly, they all display his personality perfectly.

We love this little stinker.

Clearly his sister isn't phased by the silliness. :)

So, we are gearing up for our big move in about 9 days!  Have I started packing?  Funny you should ask.  I haven't done a thing! Oh but no worries folks, I'm much better under pressure.
Plus, the house is just a few minutes down the road so I'm planning to literally throw stuff in boxes and just skip all the bubble wrap and newspaper.
We closed on the house today.  It was a surreal experience for me.  I think because I know that this house will be a place we stay in for a long time I'm sure...a place that we are going to raise our kids in and make forever memories.  We may not live in this house forever but one thing is for sure.  We are sick of moving!!  This will be our 6th move in 8 years.  Whew, just saying that makes me tired.  I can finally, finally get my china out of Tupperware.  Maybe I'll use it now.

Alright, it's late and I need to get to bed.  Hopefully this will be a good sleep night for one little 5 month old.

One can hope, right?

4 year, 4 months, and CATCH UP!

Man, have I been a horrendous blogger lately!!  Absolutely horrendous.  I just can't seem to get it together lately.

But....better late than never I suppose.  Right?!

This crazy man had his 4 year check up a couple of weeks ago.

He weighed in at 42.4 pounds (80 %) and was 42 inches tall (81%).  No wonder I have a hard time picking this guy up!  He's a ton of bricks I tell ya.  Or maybe it's a sign that I need to begin P90x once again...   No, no, couldn't be.

On the same day, this sweet pea had her 4 month check up just a few weeks late.

She weighed in at 15.3 pounds (70%) and was 25.5 inches long (81%).  Growing like all little weeds should.

Of course we can't leave this little girl out!  At her 18 month appointment, back in December, she weighed a whopping 21 pounds.

Light as a feather.

I've been a busy mommy with these three kiddos.  Doing what, I don't know.  Oh wait, yes I do.  Cleaning, doing laundry, nursing, feeding kids, disciplining, driving to mother's day out, watching, yelling...whoops, did I say yelling?...playing, being a wife, budgeting, cleaning (did I say that already?) and loving on all three of these babies.  It's a full time job I've come to realize.  Can I get a "I heeeard that!" from all you mommies?  Uh huh.

We've had an exciting past month.  We finally bought a house!  After 5 years of rentals and 8 years of always keeping my china in Tupperware I am over it.  We are so ready to make a house our home.  Make it our own.  Paint it whatever color I want to paint it.  Buy new furniture...yippee!!! (Ahem, don't have a stroke reading that last thing my dear hubby).

We didn't expect to buy this early but decided to start looking after Christmas.  We only looked at three which I made the comment to Steven that it felt exactly like House Hunters. :)  We found one we loved in the exact location of town we were looking for.  It's not a perfect house, but it's perfect for us.  It has a nice size backyard which was one of the top "wants" on our list and many other wonderful features.

We actually put an offer in over a month ago and they completely rejected ours and said they were going with another.  I was heartbroken but had to remember it was just a house so I got to looking once more.

Nevertheless, two weeks went by and we continued to notice that the house was still active on all realty sites.  We inquired with our realtor and a few days later made another offer.

We then learned that the house was in fact under contract but their agent said we were more than welcome to make another offer ourselves and sign a contingency contract in which we would get the house if the other people didn't want it.  We would know something in 5-7 days she said.
That was one LONG week.

This girls loves to slide.

An entire week and one day went by and the results finally came in.  The contract fell through and we got the house!

We close on the 21st of this month and move in the Saturday of Easter weekend.

I'm looking forward to showing you all a lot of "before and after" pictures of the house.  We have a lot of painting we want to do and a few DYI projects.  The house was built in 1979, so definitely not new.  It is absolutely move in ready, but needs updating along the way.  But that's exactly what I wanted!  Something that wasn't a fixer upper but also a house that we could make our own a day at a time.

This is Isaac's signature look these days.  Constantly with his tongue out!

And this girl could stay outside all day long if allowed.  She is obsessed with the outdoors.

So much so, that she likes to fall to the ground when pitching a fit and lick the earth below.

And then realizes no matter how angry you get, that wasn't a good idea.

Speaking of fits, this boy of ours has hit the terrible 4's.  Is there such a thing?? I sure hope so.

Steven and I have learned a lot about prayer this month.  You can correct and discipline all day long (and we do)...but we are learning that the most important truth in parenting is PRAYER and giving it over to our Heavenly Father.  We pray for grace daily and I'm so thankful the Lord hears our prayers because we need it.  Every parent does.  Grace.  Just saying that word gives me hope!

And here's proof that Lillian was outside playing too.
A simple reflection in the window was the best I could do.

I'm gettin' real good at picture taking with a baby on my hip.
You should try it.

It's great workout for the arms and abs.
If only it would show...

Thank you blogging world for giving me a little grace as well--I hope to be back regularly in no time. ;)
