Remember when I used to blog?
That feels like a long long time ago.
I think it's safe to say that having three children has completely turned my life upside down. Some people can juggle it all with children but I'll admit it, I'm not one to multitask (insert Steven laughing out loud here followed by, "ya think?"). Something had to give this past year and the blog was the first to go. Quite frankly it was the last thing I wanted to do on a nice quiet afternoon when I finally got all three kids to nap at the same time. Or when I sighed my last sigh of the day realizing all three were asleep at night and I could relax for an hour on the couch.
But when it's all said and done I do miss this little corner of the internet for whatever reason. Isaac was flipping through my iPhone pictures the other night and he said a simple, yet profound thing for a little five year old. "Mama, pictures show you the fun times you've had."
Blogs can be a memory book of one's life and as these days are quickly fleeting I want to box these kids up and never forget them at this important stage.
So what better way to start anew then by remembering this past year a bit in pictures and remembering the fun times we've had….
Remember when…
We wore pigtails on the beach
Napping on the sand was the perfect morning
Fireworks made us squeal with glee
They shared the first day of school
Enjoying time alone out west did our hearts good
And hiking everyday was our favorite past time
Remember when…
We smiled for family pictures
Or screamed like crazy parents when Isaac made a goal
Baby girl turned ONE
And we celebrated in a quiet way at our new home
Bath tub play lasted for 30 minutes or more
Learning to walk felt like the best thing in the world
Christmas morning came at long last
Smiles lit up a room
Baby grew taller
Remember when…
Our oldest turned FIVE
Jake and the Neverland Pirates cake was requested
We explored in bouncy houses
But also SO FUN
Baby thought she was a big girl
The ice storm of 2014 rolled in
We were cold
Long walks with Daddy were our favorite
We wished for spring
Remember when…
Laughter was the best medicine
And turkeys can be really shy and extra silly during a play
No really, they can.
Remember when I finally started to blog again?
