All boy

Sometimes after lunch Isaac likes to venture out into the great wild of our backyard while I clean the kitchen.

It could be 100 degrees outside (and it was) and dirt and dried dog poop make their home on his feet...but he doesn't mind. Why? Oh, because he's a boy.

You can find him doing all sorts of things.

Such as....

Walking around with a mop (and with your jon jon unbuttoned no less).

Stopping to check for dirt.

The occasional picking up of the hose.

Climbing.

But the clock soon hits 1 p.m. and it's time for all little boys to take a nap.

Mommy ventures outside herself to break the news.

He spots me.

He goes for the escape route.

The back of the fence where bugs roam free. Mommy hates bugs.

He quickly diverts my attention to his cuteness.

He's quite successful...

Blowing rasberries at mommy is an easy distraction.

Works everytime.

He's a smart one this lad, but I soon catch on to his antics...

With no more tricks up this boy's sleeve another successful catch is made.

Back to the jail house...ahem, I mean bed for naptime.

Mommy wins everytime.

You need to write a book on how to do creative, enjoyable blogs. You are great and oh, how I love that boy!

You make us all feel as though we are right there in your kitchen watching him from the door. You and your new camera are amazing!! More and more blog readers are telling me how talented you are; I agree with your mom--you should write a book. Give that "all boy" grandson a big hug and kiss from his CC. Love you all and am missing you.
