Little buddy had quite a full day on his birthday.
His birthday fell on a Sunday this year so before heading to church we celebrated with a great big cinnamon roll and a little lesson in candle blowing.
Here we are singing Happy Birthday to him.
He loved the attention.
After four years, Isaac has really never known how to blow out a candle. Instead of blowing, it usually turns into just spitting.
So Daddy decided to do a quick lesson in the art of candle blowing before rushing to church. After all, buddy had to be prepared for his little party at the end of the day.
By the end of the lesson he finally blew out the light and was extremely proud of his work.
Steven was quick to praise his valiant effort...
We headed to church after eating and waited to give little buddy his present until we returned. Luckily he's still at the age where he didn't mind.
When we got home we made Isaac go inside while Steven prepared his birthday present for presentation.
Savannah insisted she come outside to help.
Daddy prepared the present and we quickly called him out to behold the toy in all it's glory...
It's...
a...
GATOR!!!!
He was thrilled with his new ride and immediatly took that bad boy for a spin.
He rode around with a stunned look on his face for a while. Little buddy was completely surprised. He never asked for anything really so I don't think he had a clue as to what he would get.
Savannah Banana didn't really know what to think either and was afraid to ride in it at first.
Who can blame her really. I wouldn't want to drive with a kid in driver's ed!
He's been loving his new gator jeep this past week. He loves to make believe and pretend he's going to the store, or his "house in the woods," or place our ADT sign in a different spot in the yard and call it a stop sign.
We loved celebrating this super fun 4 year old!!
Next up, his birthday party...

Love the one where he's watching Steven out of the corner of his eye. So cute, these little boys and their daddies!
